The Alexander and Diviya Magaro Peer Pre-Review program is for:
- Harvard University and Washington University in St. Louis social science researchers (e.g., relevant parts of public health, political science, economics, history, psychology, sociology, law, anthropology, business, public policy, etc.).
- Senior and junior faculty, postdocs, and senior graduate students working on job market papers are eligible for the program.
- Recent Ph.D. graduates at participating universities are also eligible to use the program for up to two years after graduation for any papers based on their dissertations or other work they began at their university.
- Junior graduate students not working on job market papers are ineligible to participate, as their university faculty already provide reviews of their scholarship.
- Qualitative and quantitative research if the above criterion is met. However, research focused on something other than human beings or where the focus is not social (e.g., research on a particular anatomical or physiological system) is ineligible for submission to this program.
If you have questions about whether your research document would be a good fit for the Peer Pre-Review program, please email peerprereview@iq.harvard.edu. Our program team will let you know if we can help with a review.
